Njord Partners hires fundraising head
Mid-market investment manager Njord Partners has appointed Kirsty Acton as head of capital formation and fundraising partner, effective 26 October.
Acton previously helped lead the EMEA private wealth business of Swedish private equity firm EQT, where she served as director in the client relations and capital raising team.
In the past, Acton led her own placement business, raising capital across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt strategies for global banks, private equity GPs and entrepreneurs. She began her career working in sales at a UK-based hedge fund.

Njord Partners, established in 2013, provides long-term flexible capital solutions to European middle-market companies, including flexible equity and credit, facilitating strategic and operational enhancements to drive value within its portfolio companies.
The firm, which manages capital in excess of €1bn (£0.83bn), said the overall market opportunity continues to grow as corporate Europe is faced with a steady elevation of refinancings coupled with a higher interest rate environment.
“The company has an impressive track record of working with management teams to deliver enduring capital solutions, and I look forward to supporting its continued growth by deepening relationships with existing investors and introducing the firm to new partners,” said Acton.
