Permira Credit prices latest US CLO at $401.9m
Permira Credit has priced its latest US collateralised loan obligation (CLO) at $401.9m (£300m), marking its sixth US CLO in less than two years.
Menlo CLO VI is the firm’s 21st CLO globally and its fifth this year, following two European and three US transactions.
The latest deal will bring assets under management (AUM) across Permira Credit’s global liquid credit platform to $9.5bn.
The firm has continued to expand its US CLO business since launching the Menlo platform less than two years ago, alongside its established European Providus platform.
Its US transactions this year include Menlo CLO IV, priced in February, and Menlo CLO V in May, while its European platform priced Providus CLO XIV in January and Providus CLO XV in April.
“Pricing our sixth Menlo CLO in an environment that continues to reward selectivity reflects the discipline of our approach and the confidence our investors place in our strategy. We are grateful for their continued support, and for the hard work of our team in delivering another successful transaction,” said Jared Adler, managing director at Permira Credit.
Permira Credit said it has priced 15 CLOs through its European Providus platform since 2018, including the €403.3m Providus CLO XV in April 2026.
