LMS boosts corporate expertise with two new partner hires
Italian law firm LMS Studio Legale has added Mario Lisanti and Fabio Niccoli as partners, with the appointments set to strengthen its banking and finance and corporate practices.
Lisanti joins as head of banking and finance, bringing over 25 years of experience advising lenders and borrowers on a range of banking and finance transactions, including across private credit, real estate and corporate loans. He has also advised on the structuring, establishment and financing of a number of credit funds focused on the Italian market.

Meanwhile, Niccoli was a founding partner of LMS Studio Legale in 2006 before branching out to other roles. He has over 25 years’ experience in private equity, including advising Italian and international private equity funds. He was previously general counsel of Fondo Strategico Italiano, now CDP Equity, where he also held investment committee and board roles.
The pair have recently worked on a number of significant deals, including advising Cheyne Capital on the financing of major Milan residential projects, as well as advising Eurazeo on financing the acquisition of GBSapri by Brera Capital Partners.
