Mintos introduces personalised ETFs
Mintos has launched a series of personalised exchange traded funds (ETFs) with zero commission for retail investors.
It comes just weeks after the Latvia-based lending marketplace launched its first high-yield fractional bonds, which allow investors to add corporate bonds to their portfolios.
The ETFs aim to provide long-term, diversified investments for retail investors. They feature offerings from well-known providers such as Amundi, iShares, JP Morgan, and Vanguard. They are tailored to cater to different risk appetites, with a mix of bond and stock ETFs available.

Each ETF comes with a minimum investment threshold of €50 (£43) and zero fees.
“At Mintos, we aim at making long-term passive investing a hassle-free experience,” said Martins Sulte, chief executive and co-founder of Mintos.
“We recognise that today’s investors often find themselves overwhelmed by the vast array of available ETFs and the complex fee structures still imposed by many investment platforms when they expect zero commissions instead.

“That’s why we are happy to introduce personalised ETF portfolios that cater to different risk preferences, making it simple for investors to build a well-balanced portfolio aligned with their goals.”
The product has been launched in response to demand from the platform’s user base.
According to a recent survey conducted by Mintos, 80 per cent of respondents who were not yet investing in ETFs said that they wished to do so in the near future. However, the primary challenge was said to be a lack of knowledge among investors.
