P2P platforms on hiring spree
Peer-to-peer lending platforms are hiring for growth, with dozens of roles currently being advertised across the sector.
Peer2Peer Finance News analysis has found more than 30 current vacancies at UK-based P2P lending platforms.
The vacancies range from junior positions and apprenticeships, to specialist underwriting roles, and senior roles such as business development manager and relationship director.
So who is hiring?
- Proplend
Commercial property lender Proplend is currently advertising for three roles, which “would suit someone with solid commercial property bridge, term or VAT lending experience”.
The platform is currently seeking a business development manager, an underwriter, and a loan administrator. Each of these positions would be hybrid with three days in the office and two remote. Applicants have been invited to contact the platform directly with their CV.

- Assetz Capital
The UK’s largest P2P platform has 12 vacancies at present. At the most junior level, the company is advertising for a HR and training apprentice, as part of its commitment to encourage more apprenticeships. It is also seeking customer service managers, relationship managers, and software engineers in a variety of roles.
Assetz is also hiring for the newly-created role of development monitoring director. This role will “evolve the effectiveness of our development loan book monitoring, whilst at the same time giving valuable time back to the origination team/relationship directors for other responsibilities by reducing their required frequency of site visits,” Assetz explained.
- Kuflink
Kuflink has been on an expansion drive in recent months, and the property lender is currently seeking five new staff members, including an underwriter and a junior underwriter.
The platform is also hiring for a marketing manager, and a sales support officer, as well as for junior IT support.

- CrowdProperty
Property P2P lender CrowdProperty has an open invitation on its website for new staff. “We are always looking for talented and passionate people to join our growing team,” the notice reads. Interested applicants may contact CrowdProperty directly with their CVs.
The firm is currently seeking a client support manager who will be based in Birmingham.
- Folk2Folk
The second largest P2P platform in the UK has two vacancies for relationship managers at the moment. The lender is searching for “go-getters” who can help develop customer and introducer relationships.
Folk2Folk has been vocal about its commitment to equal opportunities hiring, and has called for older applicants to get in touch. Like CrowdProperty, the platform has extended an open invitation for any would-be employees to get in touch.
- Rebuildingsociety
Rebuildingsociety is looking for “individuals who are intelligent, hard-working, adaptable, and who have an interest in fintech”. It is currently hiring for four positions, including investment relations manager, customer insight analyst, compliance co-ordinator, and debt recovery paralegal.
- Plend
One of the newest P2P lenders on the scene, Plend has been pushing to expand its team throughout this year, and there are still some positions available. The consumer lender is currently seeking a founder associate and a full stack developer. Both roles come with equity options.
