MillTech to sponsor inaugural Alternative Credit Investor conference
Alternative Credit Investor is proud to announce that MillTech, the independent FX risk and cash management platform, is sponsoring the inaugural Alternative Credit Investor conference.
The event, which takes place on 20 October at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London, will bring together allocators, fund managers and service providers for a day of panel discussions and networking.
With the conference just over two weeks away, the final tickets are now on sale. To register, click here.
Founded in 2019, MillTech provides FX risk and cash management for investment managers, corporates and asset owners. The firm builds on the experience of Millennium Global, one of the founding firms in currency overlay, which has managed currency risk for institutional clients since 1994.
“We’re delighted to support the inaugural Alternative Credit Investor conference,” said Joe McKenna, head of fund solutions at MillTech.
“Private credit managers are raising more capital from international investors and lending across more jurisdictions, and as platforms scale and fund structures become more complex, lean operations teams are being asked to support more vehicles and more currencies.
“Many managers want to focus their resources on origination and portfolio management, so they’re choosing to outsource non-core activities such as FX and cash management. Done well, that means automated workflows that integrate with existing systems, efficient, transparent execution, capital-efficient hedging that doesn’t tie up liquidity in collateral, and better returns on uninvested cash rather than leaving it to drag on performance.”
MillTech is not a bank, broker or market maker. Its platform gives clients access to pricing and credit from up to 15 tier 1 banks, and automates the entire FX workflow, from calculating exposures and sizing hedges through to execution, settlement and reporting. Its cash management service offers access to a multi-currency network of AAA-rated money market funds. MillTech works with more than 250 client entities, and its group trades an average of more than $500bn (£446.2bn) in FX a year.
“We’re looking forward to sharing what we’re seeing across our client base and connecting with the managers shaping the next phase of the market,” McKenna added.
