Benefit Street Partners (BSP) has expanded its capital formation team with three senior appointments.

The investment manager has hired Godfrey Gill and Peter Moore as managing directors as well as Nadia Patel as global head of insurance.

Moore has joined the firm from The TCW Group, where he spent 21 years in various positions, while Gill joins from Vista Equity Partners, where he served as managing director for more than six years.

Patel has joined the firm from PAG, where she was executive director, head of North American insurance and solutions for more than three years.

“Their appointments reflect our continued investment in strengthening our global capital formation platform and the expertise and resources we bring to our clients,” BSP said on LinkedIn, where it announced the appointments.

BSP is a global alternative credit investment manager with $96.4bn (£72.7bn) in assets under management and strategies across areas such as direct lending, infrastructure debt and liquid credit.
