Savills Investment Management (Savills IM) has appointed Alex Griffiths as global head of client capital.

In her role, Griffiths will be responsible for Savills IM’s global capital raising and investor relations activities, helping to drive growth in international markets, the investment manager said.

Griffiths joins Savills from AEW Europe, where she served as managing director and head of investor relations. During her tenure, more than €30bn (£25.7bn) of capital was raised for funds, separate accounts, co-investments and joint ventures, the firm said.

“Alex brings an exceptional level of expertise and experience to the team,” said Michael Neal, global chief investment officer and interim chief executive of Savills IM.

“Her impressive track record in capital raising coupled with relationship management for some of the world’s leading institutional investors, will be invaluable as we continue to scale the business.”

Overall, Savills IM manages around €25.5bn of assets across debt and equity in the UK, Europe and APAC, the firm said.
