UK bridging lender MSP Capital expands geographical reach
MSP Capital has bolstered its property lending expertise in the UK Midlands with the appointment of Tom Edmunds as lead business development manager for the region.
Edmunds has 10 years of experience in bridging and development finance, most recently serving as relationship director at Shawbrook Bank, the lender said.
MSP Capital provides property finance across England and Wales, with its head office in Poole, Dorset, lending to businesses and individuals nationwide for sums of up to £10m.
The property lender said his appointment comes as the business looks to expand its geographical reach and strengthen relationships with mortgage brokers and intermediaries across the UK.

Adam Tovey, commercial director at MSP Capital, said Edmunds’ appointment is an important step as it evolves its presence across more core regions of the UK.
“We want to work more closely with brokers and intermediaries on a national basis, while continuing to build the strong relationships that have always been at the heart of MSP Capital,” he said. “Expanding our geography and strengthening our team in key regions such as the Midlands will help us do that.”

“I’m looking forward to reconnecting with existing contacts, building new relationships across the Midlands, and working alongside brokers, developers and investors to support their ambitions,” said Edmunds. “I’m excited to be part of the MSP Capital team, sourcing opportunities, promoting our lending products, and assisting the underwriting team to ensure deals progress efficiently through to completion.”
