Sixth Street targets UK RE with Lloyds tie-up
Sixth Street has expanded its lending to the UK commercial real estate sector through a partnership with high street bank Lloyds.
The global investment firm has entered into a co-operative agreement with Lloyds to provide funding to the sector.
Sixth Street will provide financing to UK commercial real estate borrowers through its asset-based finance (ABF) platform, the firm said.

The manager stated that its London-based ABF team will work with its real estate team to provide the financing.
“By combining Lloyds’ deep UK platform with Sixth Street’s London-based ABF and real estate teams, we look forward to providing UK property borrowers with flexible, scaled financing solutions,” the firm said on LinkedIn.

Overall, Sixth Street has over $140bn (£104.5bn) in assets and has several investment platforms, including growth investing, direct lending, infrastructure and special situations.
