Nuveen Private Capital appoints Barings’ Rdzak as MD
Nuveen Private Capital (NPC) has appointed Robert Rdzak as managing director, consultant relations, leading engagement with institutions across North America.
Based in New York City, Rdzak will work with NPC’s existing teams to expand access to the firm’s private credit and private equity strategies among institutional consulting firms and their clients, the firm said.
He joins Nuveen from Barings, where he spent eight years in consultant relations, most recently as managing director.

“Robert brings a strong track record of building relationships with leading consulting firms and driving positive outcomes for institutional investors,” said Michael Foley and David Burnside, co-heads of NPC business development, with Rdzak reporting jointly to both.
“His experience and understanding of private markets will be instrumental as we further enhance our engagement with the consultant community and connect investors with the full breadth of capabilities across NPC.”

Nuveen Private Capital brings together US-based Churchill Asset Management and European-based Arcmont Asset Management under one private capital platform.
NPC is a $99bn (£73bn) private capital platform, with investments across North America and Europe. It invested $27bn across middle-market companies in the US and Europe over the past year, the firm said.
The platform is part of Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, which oversees $1.4tn in assets globally.
