Neuberger backs tokenised fixed income fund
US-headquartered alternatives manager Neuberger has launched a tokenised fund, which includes collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) and leveraged loans.
Created in partnership with specialist firm Securitize, which tokenises real-world assets, the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) offers a high-yield strategy across blockchain networks Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui.
Neuberger will serve as subadvisor to the fund, providing fixed income expertise and drawing on its platform of more than $230bn (£170bn) assets under management.

“We are pleased to work with Securitize to extend our process-driven, actively managed approach to qualified investors looking to access fixed income strategies on-chain,” said Anil Abraham, Neuberger’s head of product management.
HINC will primarily invest in high yield bonds, in addition to CLOs and leveraged loans. It will be available to eligible accredited investors and qualified purchasers subject to jurisdictional eligibility and applicable securities-law requirements.
Previously, Securitize secured tokenised funds in partnership with Apollo and Hamilton Lane among others.
