Pemberton bulks out UK credit origination team
Pemberton has bolstered its private credit origination team in the UK, appointing Daphne Sun as an executive director.
At the European private credit manager, which manages $32.5bn (£24bn) of assets, Sun will be responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities across the UK market.
Sun joins Pemberton from JP Morgan, where she served as an executive director in leveraged finance. Earlier in her career, Sun held leveraged finance origination roles at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.

“Daphne brings more than 12 years of experience in leveraged finance, advising financial sponsors and corporates on a broad range of leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions,” Pemberton said on LinkedIn, announcing Sun’s appointment.
Based in the UK, Pemberton has credit strategies across capital solutions, senior direct lending and asset-based finance.
