Ares announces four new partners in credit division
Ares Management Corporation has promoted four employees within its credit division to partner, as part of a wider round of senior appointments across the firm.
Ares, which has $596bn (£447.9bn) in assets under management, has promoted Richard Sehayek, co-head of European alternative credit, to partner.
Meanwhile, within its US direct lending department, the manager has promoted Damian Sclafani and Adam Schatzow to partner. Russell Almeida, portfolio manager in US liquid credit, has also been promoted to partner.

In total, the alternatives manager has promoted 10 people across its credit, real estate, investment operations, secondaries and wealth management departments.
Within its secondaries division, Ibrahim Majeed, head of product management and investor relations for infrastructure secondaries, has been promoted to partner.

In real estate, David Proctor, who works in US real estate debt, has been promoted alongside Cal NeSmith, head of US diversified investments, and Gregg Boehm, co-head of US logistics investments.
Announcing the appointments on LinkedIn, Ares said: “Each member of this group is a true culture carrier, and their promotion is a testament to the impact these leaders have had on the firm and a reflection of the talent and character that drives Ares’ collective success.”
