Advisory firm Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its debt advisory team with the appointment of Mike Beadle as a managing director in London.

Beadle joins from Deutsche Numis where he was head of debt advisory, and previously also held roles at Terra Firma, Barclays and Rothschild.

His primary focus at A&M will be on expanding the firm’s corporate client coverage and addressing growing demand from corporates for support in navigating increasingly complex debt markets.

“Debt markets for both corporate and leveraged borrowers remain remarkably resilient, despite ongoing volatility from tariffs interest rates and geopolitical instability,” said Beadle. “Against this backdrop, borrowers will continue to benefit from expert advice to ensure flexible and efficient funding structures.”

A&M’s debt advisory team now counts approximately 40 people across EMEA, with offices in London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris and Dubai.

Beadle’s arrival comes after the recent appointment of Heinrich Kerstien as managing director in Germany.
