Clearstream to add BlackRock’s evergreen funds to its platform
Clearstream is adding BlackRock’s evergreen funds to its distribution platform, boosting wealth managers’ access to the asset manager’s private market funds.
Clearstream, which is owned by Deutsche Börse Group, has a network of over 300 distribution partners, including global wealth managers across Europe, the UK and Asia Pacific.

“We are entering a new era for private markets, in which we are bringing together our innovative evergreen solutions with new distribution channels,” said BlackRock Wealth’s head of the alternative specialists team in EMEA, Fabio Osta. “In collaboration with Clearstream we are democratizing access to private markets for more investors as they continue to grow their allocations to the asset class.”
Last year, BlackRock launched an evergreen private markets platform, which provides access to the BlackRock Multi-Alternatives Growth Fund and BlackRock Private Equity Fund, through the ELTIF 2.0 framework. The firm currently manages $600bn (£445.6bn) of client assets across private markets strategies.

Clearstream Fund Services provide services amounting to €300bn (£261.8bn) in private and alternative funds.
“Our collaboration with BlackRock marks an exciting step towards facilitating access to private market investments,” added Moritz Dechow, Clearstream Fund Services’ head of fund distribution.
