Clearstream unveils digital solution to streamline private market fund distribution
Clearstream has launched a digital solution to improve efficiency and transparency in private market fund processing and distribution.
The new solution makes use of digital capabilities through its DLT-based platform FundsDLT and is integrated with Clearstream’s Vestima fund platform to automate some of the key processes involved in private market fund processing.

According to Clearstream, which is Deutsche Börse Group’s post-trade services provider, the Vestima digital solution provides detailed reporting, with anonymised, granular views into investor portfolios, and also consolidates multiple investor portfolios under a single Clearstream account.
By offering the ability to digitally aggregate and disaggregate investor portfolios, it simplifies order routing, capital call management, and asset servicing.
The solution can be used by asset managers to streamline management of fund issuance and regulatory controls, with enhanced automation that enables fund managers and general partners to streamline distribution towards distributors and wealth managers.
It has initially been introduced to selected clients ahead of a full-scale rollout.

“Designed to be inclusive and comprehensive, it empowers them with advanced capabilities for tracking and reporting investments and transactions, unlocking new distribution opportunities in wealth management while reducing costs and complexity.”
Clearstream Fund Services connects international asset managers and fund houses with a global network of distribution partners, offering access to more than 80,000 funds.
Fund processing platform Vestima provides order execution, settlement and custody services for over 245,000 funds.
