Aegon AM launches Capital Call Finance Fund
Aegon Asset Management (Aegon AM) has launched the Aegon Capital Call Finance Fund for institutional investors across mainland Europe and the UK.
The fund aims to capitalise on growing interest in capital call finance and expands Aegon AM’s alternative fixed-income capabilities. It is an evergreen fund and will offer investors access to risk-adjusted returns, with an investment-grade risk profile and short maturity.

It will be managed by Aegon AM’s six-strong fund finance investment team based in Europe, and will be supported by its global private equity investment, leveraged finance and research teams.
“Capital call facilities continue to be an important financing tool for private market funds,” said Bas Kragten, head of fund finance and infrastructure debt at Aegon AM. “These credit facilities enable fund managers to bridge capital needs before calling down fund commitments from limited partners.”
