Shojin adds another Barclays veteran to board
Property lender Shoijn has added another former Barclays executive as a board member and advisor to the company.
Graham Rusling spent more than 40 years with Barclays in various roles including global head of restructuring.
He is a credit risk specialist and has spent the majority of his career in senior credit risk roles.

More recently, Rusling has acted as a consultant, non-executive director and chairman in a variety of organisations including executive chairman of the institute for Turnaround, senior advisor to a distressed investment fund, and to Investec Bank. He is also a trustee of the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People.
“We welcome Graham on board,” said a spokesperson for Shojin.

“His vast experience and expertise in credit and corporate risk management will be invaluable in supporting Shojin through its next phase of growth.”
In November 2024, Shojin has appointed Barclays debt structuring veteran Wayne Hiley as a board member and advisor following an “extensive” search process. At the time, the property lender said that Hiley’s work will focus on loan origination to help drive sustainable growth for the organisation.
