Currency manager Record appoints pension fund veteran as CIO
Record, a specialist currency and alternative asset manager, has appointed Andreas Dänzer as group chief investment officer, a newly created role.
Dänzer will join Record, which provides its service to institutional clients, including private credit managers, over the summer.

He brings with him extensive experience in the investment sector.
Dänzer was most recently chief investment officer of the pension fund of Credit Suisse (Switzerland). Prior to that he oversaw the capital investment division of Asga Pensionskasse, where he was a member of the executive board.
Before that he spent eight years as head of asset management and investment committee chair of the pension fund of UBS. Earlier in his career, he spent several years at PUBLICA, the pension fund for Swiss public employees.
As part of his new role with Record, Dänzer will travel widely to support the investment teams based across New York, London and Frankfurt as well as the company’s international client base.

Dänzer said he was joining the company at an “exciting time”.

Record manages over $100bn (£77bn) of assets for 140 institutional clients worldwide across FX risk management and alpha solutions, EM debt, infrastructure equity, and alternative credit.
