ZCG boosts capital formation, credit teams
Private merchant bank Z Capital Group has announced a series of new hires to its capital formation and credit teams, to support the firm’s continued growth.
Jedidiah Lee and Gregory Poos have both been promoted to managing director, credit, and both will also serve on the ZCG credit investment committee.
Lee’s background includes roles at Bayside Capital and Lazard, while Poos has previously worked at Arrowmark Partners, Garrison Investment Group, and Citigroup.

Meanwhile, Bryce Cason has joined as principal and head of capital formation. He will lead the execution of new fund launches, capital raising, institutional client solutions and co-investments, placement agent coordination, the development of private wealth channels, and new and existing relationships across the ZCG platforms. Prior to ZCG, Cason was a vice president at Campbell Lutyens & Co. on the global fund placement team.
Alexandra Batter has joined as an associate on the capital formation team. Batter will conduct research and analysis and support all aspects of fundraising, investor relations, and corporate development across ZCG platforms. Prior to ZCG, she was an associate in private equity at Spire Capital focusing on transaction execution, new investment acquisition, and portfolio management.

Elsewhere, Jonathan Cutting has been appointed principal, private equity. He will be responsible for creating and managing investments of existing ZCG and prospective private equity portfolio companies. Prior to ZCG, he was a vice president at Platinum Equity, working on transaction execution, due diligence, and portfolio company management.
