Lendermarket investors earned 15.9pc in 2024
Investors in European peer-to-peer lending marketplace Lendermarket earned an average annual return of 15.9 per cent last year, the company has revealed.
In a note to investors, Lendermarket described 2024 as “a standout year” which saw €68.5m (£57m) invested in the platform, bringing the cumulative investment since inception to more than €456m.
Investors earned more than €8m in interest last year. This brings the cumulative paid interest since inception to over €24.7m.

The platform now has more than 17,000 investors, with a platform portfolio worth €34m.
More than 172,000 loans were originated in 2024, with a total value of €99.5m.
Furthermore, 2024 saw the launch of Lendermarket 2.0, a rebranding effort designed to streamline the investment process for the platform’s users and improve transparency for investors.

The firm also earned its authorisation under the EU Crowdfunding Regulation last year, and has since begun to expand into new markets such as Poland.
“2024 was truly a standout year for Lendermarket and its investor community, marking a significant chapter in our five-year journey,” said a company spokesperson.
“Together, we celebrated remarkable milestones that not only delivered outstanding returns on investment but also enhanced the overall experience of using our platform.”
