Folk2Folk appoints Aaron Hamshire to strengthen broker focus
The UK’s largest peer-to-peer lending platform, Folk2Folk, has appointed Aaron Hamshire as relationship manager.
Based in Cornwall, Hamshire joins Folk2Folk’s business development team, focusing on nurturing and expanding broker relationships across the UK.
Hamshire brings with him over 15 years of experience in business development and relationship management, having held roles at leading financial institutions.

Prior to joining Folk2Folk, Hamshire spent five years as a relationship manager at Lloyds Bank, supporting businesses in achieving their growth ambitions.
He also served as business manager at SWIG Finance, focusing on providing funding solutions for SMEs, and spent nearly a decade at Barclays, where he worked closely with business clients to facilitate growth, provide international trade solutions, and enable property acquisitions.

To date, Folk2Folk has lent over £739m to support UK SMEs. Investors can expect returns from 8.75 per cent per annum.
