Alantra reorganises executive team to drive new strategy
Alantra has reorganised its leadership team in line with a new strategic plan, which it will present in the first quarter of 2025.
The global firm focuses on alternative asset management, investment banking and technology advisory services.
The group’s former chief finance officer, Iñigo de Cáceres, will become chief executive, while founder Santiago Eguidazu remains executive chairman, focusing on shaping Alantra’s strategy and overseeing its execution.
Eguidazu will be supported by general secretary Xavier Pujol and group chief operations officer María González de Apodaca.

Jacobo Llanza will continue to lead the alternative asset management and private capital business unit as executive chairman.
Patricia Pascual-Ramsay has been appointed chief executive of this business area. Having joined Alantra in 2006, has been director of corporate development and chief operations officer.
Together, Llanza and Pascual-Ramsay will focus on scaling, internationalizing, and driving integration across this business area.
In the investment banking and capital markets unit Miguel Hernández has been appointed as chairman. He will focus on connecting the group’s various advisory lines and driving the development of the new real assets practice.

Philipp Krohn has been appointed chief of the global investment banking and capital markets business.
Krohn previously led Alantra’s corporate development department and was a member of the private equity team.
Hernández and Krohn, along with the new international executive leadership team, will manage Alantra’s financial advisory businesses. They will focus on five key hubs (New York-Boston, London, Paris, Madrid, and Frankfurt-Zurich) while collaborating with other international offices including Milan, Stockholm, Dubai, Athens, Lisbon, and Latin America.
Joel Grau has been appointed chairman and chief executive of the FIG business.
The board of directors has accepted Santiago Bergareche‘s resignation as a director and vice chairman, after more than 20 years of service.
Silvia Reina has been appointed vice chair, representing Alantra’s shareholder, Grupo Anpora.
