Shojin appoints Barclays veteran to board
Property lender Shojin has appointed Barclays veteran Wayne Hiley as a board member and advisor.
The appointment followed an “extensive” search process, Shojin said. Hiley assumed his new position on 1 November 2024.
“We welcome Wayne to Shojin,” said a Shojin spokesperson.
“In addition to his board and risk committee roles, Wayne will focus on working with the lending origination team to help drive sustainable growth for the organisation.”
Hiley has more than 20 years’ experience in the corporate debt market. In September 2020 he retired from his role as head of UK debt structuring at Barclays’ corporate banking division.
