Litigation funder Nera Capital hires financial services veteran as CFO
Litigation funder Nera Capital has appointed financial services veteran Robin Grant as chief financial officer (CFO).
Grant (pictured) has more than 25 years of experience across a variety of asset classes and investment strategies, having worked in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and London.
In Bermuda, he gained exposure to banking, captive insurance and hedge fund sectors, having worked at PwC and Lombard Odier.

Back in the UK, he held the role of CFO of GLG Partners’ Fund of Funds division (now part of Man Group) and boutique firms, such as Tabula Investment Management (now part of Janus Henderson), RS Platou Asset Management (now part of Clarksons) and Quantmetrics Capital.
Grant, who is a chartered accountant, said he was delighted to join the team at Nera Capital.

Nera Capital is a specialist funding provider to law firms, across diverse claim portfolios in both the consumer and commercial sectors.
Established in 2011, the firm is headquartered in Dublin and also has offices in Manchester and Holland.
