Campbell Lutyens names five new MDs
Private markets placement agent Campbell Lutyens has named five new managing directors in its latest round of promotions.
Nick Best, Alex Jerez-Fernandez and Brendan Webb will take on the position in New York, James Windsor in London, and Victor de Brondeau in Paris.
Best joined the firm in 2018 as executive on the US secondaries team, advising on a wide range of GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions across asset classes. Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, he spent two years as an analyst at Greenhill & Co.

Jerez-Fernandez joined the firm in 2019 and is a member of the fund placement team, focusing on advisory, execution and project management for private infrastructure fundraisings. She previously worked in private equity fund placement both at Jeffries and MVision Private Equity Advisers.
Webb joined Campbell Lutyens in 2023 and is also a member of the fund placement team, with a focus on on advisory, execution and project management for private equity and private credit fundraisings. He also covers US-based wealth management platforms and registered investment advisers. He previously held roles at Credit Suisse Private Fund Group, Stifel, Barclays and Morgan Stanley.
Windsor joined Campbell Lutyens in 2015 and is a member of the fund placement team in London. His focus is on advisory and execution of venture capital, private equity and infrastructure fundraises. He previously worked at Barclays Investment Bank, Morgan Stanley and a Beijing-based private equity fund.

De Brondeau, based in Paris, joined Campbell Lutyens in 2022 and is a member of the fund placement team with a focus on investor relationships in the French-speaking and Southern Europe regions. He specialises in private equity, infrastructure and private credit markets. Prior to joining the firm, Victor was country head for France at UBS Asset Management, as well as head of institutional client coverage for France.
The promotions come after a management shake-up at Campbell Lutyens.
Earlier this month, the firm announced that it had promoted Gordon Bajnai to chief executive, succeeding Andrew Sealey who will become chairman.
Over the last 10 years, Campbell Lutyens has raised and advised on more than $218bn (£170bn) in private equity, private credit and infrastructure fund placements, secondary advisory and GP capital advisory assignments.
