Värde promotes Shannon Gallagher and Tony Iannazzo to partner
Alternative investment firm Värde Partners has promoted Shannon Gallagher and Tony Iannazzo to partner.
In addition to joining the firm’s partnership, Gallagher will now serve as global head of business development and investor relations and Iannazzo will serve as chief operating officer.
Gallagher joined Värde from Magnetar Capital, where she was EMEA head of client development, in 2018. She was head of business development and investor relations for the EMEA and APAC regions until 2021, when she became global co-head of business development and investor relations.

Iannazzo joined Värde as senior managing director and chief operating officer of global real estate in 2008, having previously been an associate at Lazard. He has been heading up the firm’s European real estate team since 2022.
Värde Partners is a global specialist in credit and credit-related assets. The firm was founded in 1993 and has invested more than $100bn (£78.8bn) across the credit quality and liquidity spectrum in both public and private markets.
Värde currently manages approximately $13bn in assets with teams in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific focused on corporate and traded credit, real estate, and financial services and diversified private credit.

The latest promotions are among approximately a further 20 appointments to have taken place across various departments and global offices at Värde this year.
