Goodwin hires credit fund expert in London
Goodwin has hired credit fund expert John Anderson as a partner, joining the law firm’s private investment funds practice.
Anderson will be based in Goodwin’s London office, advising clients with regulatory, tax, financing and other structuring issues in all aspects of fund formation, for senior and subordinated debt, venture debt and other credit fund strategies.
He has experience working across a broad range of alternative assets structures and jurisdictions.

“John has significant expertise in credit fund strategies, where we expect to see sustained high activity levels given the current high interest rate environment, as well as other private fund strategies,” said Michael Halford, co-chair of Goodwin’s private investment funds practice. “We are delighted that he will be joining the firm.”

Goodwin’s global private investment funds team has more than 200 dedicated lawyers and represents more than 1,000 investment managers around the world.
The firm advises clients with funds ranging from less than $10m to more than $25bn, with a particular focus in the private equity, real estate, technology, and life sciences sectors.
