Former Koyo exec joins Plend board
Peter Kent, former chief marketing officer at consumer lender Koyo, has joined the board of Plend as a non-executive director.
Kent will hold the role while continuing to work full time as vice president EMEA at a global asset manager.
Earlier this year, Koyo wound down its business after failing to secure necessary funding. A message on the Koyo website tells customers that their Koyo loan “has now been transferred to Koyo Finance 1 Ltd and is being managed by Capquest, on their behalf.”

Kent spent four years at the consumer lending platform, before joining a global asset manager in July. He told Peer2Peer Finance News that his board position at Plend will allow him to remain in the consumer lending sector.
“Koyo sadly ran out of runway earlier this year, but I wanted to stay in the industry and advise Plend from the board, alongside my full time role,” he said.
