Fintown launches investor incentive scheme
European peer-to-peer property lending platform Fintown has launched a new investor incentive scheme, called the VIP Club.
Investors who put €10,000 (£8,500) or more into the platform are instantly eligible for the VIP Club privileges.
“This is tailored to reward our dedicated investors by providing them with an opportunity to increase their returns when investing through Fintown,” the platform said.
“The VIP Club offers its members the chance to accrue an additional interest of up to one per cent on their total invested amount, irrespective of the projects they invest in.”

For investments in Fintown projects amounting between €10,000 and €29,999, members can gain an additional 0.5 per cent per annum of interest on their entire invested sum.
For those whose investments exceed €30,000, a bonus interest of one per cent per annum on the entire invested amount will be awarded.

After a year, investors can choose to reinvest or withdraw any bonuses earned under the new initiative.
As long as the investment remains above €10,000 after a year, bonuses will continue to be accrued and can be withdrawn at any time.
If an investor’s balance falls between €10,000 and €29,999 due to a partial withdrawal from an initial amount of €30,000 or more, the bonus interest rate will be reduced from one per cent to 0.5 per cent.
If post-withdrawal, an investor’s balance falls below €10,000, their activity will be paused in the VIP Club, and the associated earnings will be terminated.
