The paper said that the criteria for selection was higher than ever this year. The number 100 slot went to a fashion company which has recorded sales growth of 49.9 per cent a year – seven percentage points higher than the minimum required to achieve a place on the 2022 table.
“To qualify all the businesses have to be independent, headquartered in the UK, have sales in their latest year in excess of £5m, but not more than £250m, and be profitable,” said The Sunday Times.
