PeerBerry updates auto-invest function and app
European peer-to-peer lending marketplace PeerBerry has announced changes to its auto-invest function and updates to the user experience on its app.
The platform has reduced the number of active auto-invest strategies available to just 15, which it said “is fully enough to satisfy the needs of all investors. Usually, one to two auto-invest strategies are enough for many investors.”

The platform made the change having researched user behaviour and found that too many auto-invest strategies overloads the tool and makes it less efficient.
In a blog on the changes, the platform said: “If you have more than 15 active auto-invest strategies, please review them and leave only the most relevant to you.
“Please deactivate a part of your active auto-invest strategies that are less relevant to you and exceed the limit of 15 strategies. Those strategies that exceed the limit and are not performing will be automatically removed step-by-step.”

Users can create one auto-invest strategy that includes broad parameters or create separate strategies by setting different parameters according to countries and loan originators and also by setting different portfolio sizes.
The platform warned that demand for short-term loans on PeerBerry is very high, recommending users combine manual investing with auto-invest to invest funds more effectively.
PeerBerry has also added a ‘help’ section to its app and altered the password change function alongside other minor improvements.
