Funding Circle unveils new partnership with PayPoint
Funding Circle has unveiled yet another lending partnership, this time with payment company PayPoint.
It comes just one day after the former peer-to-peer lender announced plans to make its business loans available to Tungsten clients.
The latest partnership means that small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using PayPoint can now apply for a Funding Circle business loan on the PayPoint partner page. If eligible, PayPoint will contact the prospective borrower and a dedicated account manager will help them through the process.
“Like PayPoint, we specialise in supporting SMEs and making their lives easier through innovative technology and services,” said Funding Circle in a blog post.

“Making our application form accessible to PayPoint customers means it’s now even easier for businesses to access fast, affordable finance.
“We’re excited to start reaching more small businesses with this feature, and help them take their business further.”
Funding Circle left the P2P market in March 2022. Since then, it has been focused on building its reputation as a small business lender. To date, it has helped more than 130,000 SMEs worldwide access more than £14.5bn in funding.
