Deloitte names 12 fintechs among Fast 50 winners
Deloitte has revealed 12 fintechs among the winners of its UK Technology Fast 50 Awards.
The programme highlights the 50 fastest growing tech companies in the UK. Eight of the fintech winners are London-based, with the remaining four hailing from Scotland, the South West and Wales, and the North West.
Fastest growing among the fintech firms was money saving app Plum, which grew by 7,735 per cent over the past four years, putting fifth in the winners table overall.
Plum is a free money management app which has already partnered with Starling Bank, Monzo and RateSetter.
In the fintech category, retail rewards programme application Airtime Rewards came second at 2,453 per cent growth over the four-year period, placing tenth in the table overall.

Banking platform ClearBank, banking and compliance technology platform Railsr and anti-money laundering, identity and compliance software Amiqus made up the rest of the top five among the fintech winners.
Online currency exchange platform Freemarket came in sixth, with growth of 1,654 per cent. It was followed by financial services compliance platform Napier at 1,566 per cent and Paysend, a fintech that supports connections between various cards worldwide, which came in eighth among the fintechs with 1,184 per cent.

Expense management software solutions for small businesses, enterprises and accountants Soldo was in ninth place with 1,059 per cent and came in thirty-fifth overall.
The final three fintechs were credit history building savings platform LOQBOX, with
875 per cent growth, saving, investing, home-buying and retirement services app Moneybox with 824 per cent and finally, in twelfth place, pet insurance platform ManyPets with growth of 810 per cent.
