CrowdProperty makes another two hires
CrowdProperty has made another two hires, as the peer-to-peer property lender continues to grow its team.
Alastair Kent has joined the platform as head of planning, while Daniel Richards has been named developer support manager.
Kent has almost 20 years’ experience working for clients in the public and private sectors. He has previously worked at Montagu Evans, Deloitte Real Estate and Carter Jonas, and his career has seen him provide town planning and development consultancy services in both the UK and Canada. This includes advising on strategic property development, and conducting various land and property portfolio reviews.
Richards has more than 10 years’ experience in the property sector, including roles at Burchell Edwards Estate Agents, John Shepherd Sales & Lettings, and Butters John Bee.

“Alastair’s wealth of experience in the real estate industry adds to the collective expertise of the CrowdProperty team and enables the business to better support developers through the intricacies of both planning and development,” said Damon Walford, chief commercial officer at CrowdProperty.
“Similarly, Daniel’s property sector knowledge will provide an improved customer service experience to strengthen our proposition to developers. I’m delighted to welcome them both to the team.”
These two hires represent the latest expansion of the CrowdProperty team, following the appointment of lending director Richard Payne earlier this month. In October, Andreas Yianni was hired as head of business development for London and the South.
