Lendermarket sees October uptick with €1m paid out to investors
Lendermarket reported a rise in activity in October, with more than €10m (£8.7m) invested through the platform.
The Dublin-based peer-to-peer lending marketplace said more than €1m was paid in interest to investors last month, a substantial increase from €505,517 paid in September and €409,760 in August.
Lendermarket added 26,739 new loans to the platform in October, up from 16,778 in September.
It also unveiled a new statistics page, which it said will provide more comprehensive information about its platform performance.
“We hope a new feature will bring more valuable information to our investors,” Lendermarket said in a blog post on its website.

The platform connects private and institutional investors with consumer loans issued by European originators.
It now has more than 11,000 registered investors who have cumulatively invested €279m since the platform’s launch, with €7m paid in interest.
Lendermarket said its current portfolio is valued at €40.8m.
