Funding Circle offers loans to Handepay customers
Funding Circle is offering customers of payments processor Handepay the opportunity to apply for its business loans via a new partnership.
Handepay is a UK card payments solutions provider and part of the PayPoint Group.
The partnership enables Handepay’s small- and medium-sized (SME) business customers to apply for a Funding Circle business loan via a partnership page on the lenders website.

Funding Circle loans are often more cost effective than a business overdraft or credit card and offer fixed monthly repayments.
According to Handepay, the partnership follows an increase in demand for other lending services and business finance options from customers signed up to the Handepay Loyalty Programme.
“We’re really excited to enter this partnership with Handepay to offer even more businesses crucial access to finance”, said Fran Warrington, head of partnerships at Funding Circle.
“We’re proud to partner with like-minded companies to help more small businesses get the funding they need to grow, create jobs and invest in their communities.”
Funding Circle’s UK business exited the peer-to-peer lending space earlier this year and is now fully institutionally funded. The platform has helped more than 130,000 small businesses access more than £14.5bn in finance since 2010.
“Our new partnership with Funding Circle is just the latest tangible demonstration of how Handepay offers much more than simply card payments solutions to UK SMEs”, Mark Latham, banking services director at PayPoint Group added.
“At a time when small business owners face unprecedented challenges, we’re doubling down to ensure we offer greater value and partner access to support than ever. Handepay customers now have even more choice to find the right finance solution that fits their specific needs.”
