Invest & Fund reaches £200m lending milestone
Invest & Fund has announced it has now lent more than £200m through its platform.
The peer-to-peer property lending firm said that the loans extended to date have facilitated the creation of more than 500 homes, supporting the UK government’s aim to build 300,000 new homes a year.

“Invest & Fund was established to allow investors to back the small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development sector, simultaneously creating an attractive investment vehicle and solving a more significant funding problem within the industry,” the firm said.
“With our laser-like focus on that, it is easy to forget that building people’s homes is that mission’s most crucial subsidiary benefit.”

Reaching the milestone highlights the substantial growth that Invest & Fund – and the wider sector – has achieved over the past few years, the firm said.
“For every scheme built, the footprint of success is broad; it adds value to our partners in the construction and financial sectors whilst bolstering local economies and creating jobs and wealth across the country,” Invest & Fund added.
Earlier this month, Invest & Fund extended its partnership with Homes England with the launch of a new development finance capped rate facility.
In September 2020, it unveiled a seven-year partnership with the public body to increase the amount of finance available to small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) developers.
