JustCoded donating profits to SaveKharkiv fund
Fintech software company JustCoded is donating most of its profits to the SaveKharkiv fund, after using its Lenderkit technology to create a donation portal for the fund.
The company – which provides its software to a number of UK and European peer-to-peer lending platforms – was headquartered in Kharkiv, Ukraine until the Russian invasion on 24 February 2022.
Most of its employees have now relocated to different locations across Europe, and JustCoded has registered a new office in Germany.
“Regardless of how much we raise through the platform, we donate most of our company’s profit on a monthly basis and some of our employees have also joined the initiative,” said Konstantin Boyko, chief executive and co-founder of JustCoded.
“The money we all collected has already helped our defenders and people who support the city.
“The volunteers have delivered humanitarian aid to people in need (food, clothes, medicine, etc), but also very important (and quite expensive) equipment that saves priceless people’s lives daily. That includes protection gear, sleeping bags, cars and much more.”

Boyko hinted that the Lenderkit technology could be adapted again in future, following the success of the donation portal.
“Donation is not exactly the primary use case for Lenderkit, because it was built for crowdinvesting in the first place,” explained Boyko.
“In order to adapt it for a donation portal like SaveKharkiv, we actually had to hide quite a big portion of the features we have out of box.
“In all honesty, it’d be probably faster to build a simple website from scratch instead, however, we keep in mind that in the future the portal can grow and support other types of financial transactions.
“When the war is finally over, I am sure there will be plenty of investment opportunities in Kharkiv, especially in real estate.”
