LandlordInvest introduces a referral programme for investors
LandlordInvest has introduced a referral programme for investors.
Existing investors may refer new investors to the peer-to-peer property lending platform and in doing so both parties can earn a cash reward of £25 each.
The new lender must invest a minimum of £1,000 within 90 days of signing up for the referrer to qualify for the reward, and the new investor must hold that investment for 60 days to qualify for theirs.

In a blog post on its website, LandlordInvest said that the programme works by giving each investor a unique link that they can give to friends and when that friend signs up using the unique link, the platform attributes that referral to the original investor.
The platform said investors can access the referral programme from either their standard or Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA) account and see the referral link/code, and status of any referrals they have made.
Any cash rewards lenders earn will be paid into their standard account.

In May, LandlordInvest appointed bridging and mortgage specialist Michael Blessing as business development manager and said it will increase its minimum investment into each loan from £100 to £1,000 as of 1 July as it moves to target more high-net-worth and sophisticated investors.
