Wellesley adds festive charity element to property bond
WELLESLEY has added a festive element to its property bond.
The property investment platform has pledged to donate £10 for every £1,000 investment into the bond to charity When you Wish Upon a Star.
The charity is dedicated to granting wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.
Wellesley offers a three year bond paying four per cent per year or a one year term at three per cent.
The submission deadline is 16 December at 2pm.
The alternative property finance provider confirmed earlier this year that it was winding down its peer-to-peer lending business and shifting towards listed bonds.
It stopped accepting new money into its P2P product in May 2017 and had previously indicated that it was planning to re-launch the offering.
It began offering the Wellesley Property Bond in July, which is listed on Euronext Dublin.
Wellesley’s performance data shows it has funded £4.64m of loans so far this year in areas such as London, Manchester and Suffolk.
It has funded more than £670m loans in total on more than 3,600 properties.
