Tikehau opens credit fund to wealth managers via iCapital
Tikehau Capital has made its European private credit strategy available on iCapital Marketplace as the French alternative asset manager looks to attract more capital from wealthy investors.
The Luxembourg-domiciled evergreen strategy is structured as a European long-term investment fund (ELTIF) and invests primarily in first-lien senior secured debt issued by European companies.
iCapital is a financial technology platform that connects wealth advisers and high-net-worth investors with alternative investments such as private equity, private credit and hedge funds. It gives wealth managers, private banks, independent financial advisers and family offices access to a broad menu of private market investments through a single access point.
Tikehau’s fund joins iCapital’s existing range of evergreen and ELTIF 2.0 products for wealth managers in eligible Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.

“Private credit continues to play an important role in private market allocations, and wealth managers are looking for more effective ways to incorporate these strategies into client portfolios,” said Jocelyn Pidoux, head of asset manager solutions EMEA at iCapital.
“By bringing this offering to iCapital Marketplace, we are expanding the range of ELTIF 2.0 opportunities available through the platform and supporting a more streamlined investment experience for wealth managers across EMEA.”

The move builds on a partnership between the two firms that dates back to 2022, under which iCapital’s technology has supported digitised subscriptions, investor onboarding and lifecycle servicing for Tikehau Capital’s investment products.
“Through this expanded partnership with iCapital, we are making our European private credit expertise more accessible to wealth managers across EMEA through a streamlined digital investment experience,” said Thomas Friedberger, deputy chief executive of Tikehau Capital.
