Pollen Street backs Lithuanian SME lender with €120m
British alternative asset manager Pollen Street Capital has provided a €120m (£103.3m) facility to Lithuanian-headquartered InSoil, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lender.
InSoil provides equipment and working capital finance to SME agricultural businesses in Lithuania and Poland, supporting regenerative farming practices.
Since its inception, the company has supported around 3,500 SMEs across Europe, according to Pollen Street.

“InSoil has built a genuinely differentiated position in European agricultural finance, combining deep relationships, rigorous credit underwriting and a strong track record,” said Paul Varty, investment director at Pollen Street. “Backed by the European Investment Fund guarantee, the facility offers compelling structural protection”.
The deal comes as Pollen Street continues to support European specialty lenders. The firm backed Spanish private credit lender Zintra Capital in May and Irish non-bank lender SME Finance and Leasing Solutions in March.
