SVP strengthens European credit team with de Boissieu hire
Alternative investment manager Strategic Value Partners (SVP) has appointed Jean-Baptiste de Boissieu as a managing director on its European investment team, focusing on private and liquid credit.
De Boissieu will focus on pan-European liquid credit, private credit, restructurings and special situations investments across SVP’s opportunistic credit strategies.

He joins the $21bn (£15.8bn) alternatives manager from Davidson Kempner, where he was a managing director focusing on investments across the capital structure. Prior to that, he held roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.

De Boissieu will be based in the firm’s London office.
