Orrick adds two ABF partners to London structured finance team
Law firm Orrick has hired two asset-backed securitisation specialists to its growing London structured finance team from Cadwalader.
Suzanne Bell and William Bibby join the firm as partners, and follow the firm’s addition of a 40-lawyer transatlantic collateralised loan obligation (CLO) and asset-backed lending team last year.

The firm said the latest hires continue to deepen its comprehensive debt finance capabilities, with Bell bringing extensive experience advising on traditional and esoteric cross-border structured finance transactions, including NAV credit facilities, while Bibby brings UK and cross-border expertise.
“We’re delighted to add Suzie and Will to our platform. Their impressive ABS practice enhances our platform and brings to London strong capabilities in areas where Orrick has long been a U.S. leader,” said London Partner David Quirolo.

“Our CLO and asset-backed finance work, on both sides of the Atlantic, has been on fire since joining Orrick.”
“The integration of our new CLO team has exceeded our expectations by every measure – including continuing their streak of first-to-market transactions. With Suzie and Will, we’re continuing to add top talent to help our clients pioneer the innovative financial products of the future,” added Leah Sanzari, Orrick’s global structured finance group leader.
