Clearlake acquires Pathway in alts expansion
Clearlake Capital Group has agreed to acquire Pathway Capital Management, a global provider of private market solutions for institutional and wealth clients.

Clearlake, which manages $185bn (£140.9bn) in alternative assets, said the deal would expand its private markets platform, particularly its credit origination capabilities, and broaden its distribution across institutional and private wealth channels.

Pathway currently manages more than $95bn in assets, providing access to private equity, private credit, infrastructure, secondaries and co-investments.

The transaction is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
