Blackstone appoints Laura Coady as global head of CLOs
Blackstone has appointed Laura Coady as global head of collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) and European head of liquid credit strategies (LCS).
In her new role, Coady will oversee the Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) global CLO platform, including both formation and investment, and lead the firm’s liquid credit business across Europe.

Prior to joining Blackstone, Coady was head of international securitised markets and global head of CLOs at US investment bank Jefferies. She previously spent 14 years at Citi, where she most recently served as head of European CLO structuring, origination and distribution.

BXCI’s liquid credit strategies business manages approximately $120bn (£91.4bn) across corporate bonds, leveraged loans, CLOs and multi-asset credit mandates.
