Arini prices European CLO VII at €615m
Alternative credit manager Arini has priced a €615m (£536.9m) European new-issue collateralised loan obligation (CLO), making it the largest revolving new issue CLO priced this year.
Arini cited “strong investor demand” for its European CLO VII, with 25 investors participating in the issuance, which is the highest for any of its CLOs to date.

This included 11 AAA-rated investors and nine new investors, growing the platform’s investor base to 84 across all deals.
Of the minority equity, 84 per cent was placed with third-party investors.
Arini European CLO VII, which is also the largest CLO currently outstanding in Europe, will invest in a portfolio of European broadly syndicated senior-secured loans.
“The record size of this deal and breadth of investor participation underscore both the depth of demand for our CLOs and the strength of our platform,” said Mehdi Kashani, head of structured credit at Arini.
“We are pleased to welcome returning and new investors, reflecting the growing recognition of our robust approach to risk and fundamental research and the quality of our team.”

Arini’s global CLO platform stands at nine transactions totalling $4.6bn (£3.4bn), while its European CLO platform, launched in November 2023, has made seven successful transactions to date, bringing the firm’s total European CLO assets under management to more than €3.1bn.
“The successful pricing of CLO VII, as the largest new issuance of 2025, demonstrates our ability to continue to scale Arini’s CLO platform and broaden our investor base,” added Hamza Lemssouguer, founder and chief investment officer at Arini.
Ben Rothberg is Arini’s European CLO portfolio manager and Jon Abramson is US CLO portfolio manager.
Founded in 2021, Arini manages approximately $11.4bn across strategies including long/short credit, structured credit, opportunistic credit, direct lending and asset-backed finance.
