Pluto’s presence in Edinburgh will enable it to better serve both its Scottish investor base and Scottish property developer market with its debt financing solutions, where loan sizes range from £5m to £100m, the firm said.
Pluto aims to provide developers with flexible and innovative lending solutions, allowing them to fund much-needed development projects of all sizes across the country.

Since joining Pluto in March, the business said that Drummond has developed a strong pipeline of lending opportunities across a range of loan sizes and asset classes that could support the building of more than 2,000 homes, as well as logistics space and office accommodation.
“The Scottish market provides a considerable opportunity for tailored development finance, driven by strong demand from SME developers and a clear gap left by the withdrawal of traditional banks,” said Drummond.
